You are never too young or too old to improve the health of your bones. Exercise is critical to keeping your bones strong and supportive. Exercise improves cardio-vascular fitness, aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.

You should avoid:
• High impact exercise
• Jarring and twisting movements
• Extremes of movement or sudden movement
• Abdominal situps
• Heavy lifting
